 The 4th Carpet Olympiad Wind upHeld for the fourth time, elects of provincial stage at two levels of university student and school student competed with each other. 120 school and university students participated in the competition. It is aimed at giving motivation, combining theory and practice, assessing students' scientific capacities, identifying talented students in the country and provinces, more familiarity of public with handmade carpet through proper publicity. Participants competed in three fields of weaving, designing and dyeing at school student level and four fields of repairing, weaving, designing and dyeing at university student level.It's worth mentioning that winners of previous Olympiad took advantage of facilities like travelling to Domotex and Kish Handmade Carpet Exhibitions. |
